If your library is looking at addressing the needs of diverse and
special populations in your community, you'll want to send someone to
this CAL workshop.
Friday 1:45pm - 2:45pm
Diversity in Action
Padma Polepeddi, Ellen Greenblatt, Cynthia Kiyotake
Diversity - now what? Come join us as we give you practical tips on
building an
inclusive culture within and outside the walls of the library. We shall
provide you with
a roadmap for drawing in multicultural populations by highlighting the
history and
metamorphoses of diversity in libraries and by sharing success stories
of an award-winning diversity series (Auraria Library) to
build lasting successful community partnerships/collaborations. The
purpose of our
diversity presentation is to share best practices and highlight creative
ways to build diversity.
Bring your own information and tips to share, too!
