Workshop on Plagiarism
Please join us for a one-day workshop focused on understanding and preventing plagiarism in research and academia. The event (Preliminary Program<http://ricro.colostate.edu/PlagiarismEventProgram.html>) will feature presentations by:
*        Scott J. Moore, Ph.D., J.D. - To Cite or Not To Cite: The Plagiarist's Dilemma, National Science Foundation Office of the Inspector General Investigative Scientist
*        John E. Dahlberg, Ph.D. - How the Office of Research Integrity handles the complex topic of plagiarism, HHS Office of Research Integrity Director of Investigative Oversight
The workshop will also include panel discussions on plagiarism from the perspectives of scientific journal editors, research integrity officers, and teachers/instructors of writing.
The workshop is sponsored by Colorado State University - Fort Collins, University of Wyoming, University of Northern Colorado, University of Colorado Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, Colorado State University - Pueblo, The CSU Institute of Learning & Teaching, and the CSU Graduate School. The event will take place on the CSU-Fort Collins campus on May 8, 2013. Registration is free and open to the public: please do register by May 1, 2013 so that we can accommodate all who wish to attend.
