 Here is a sampling of the technology you will experience:

  *    Google Indoor Maps:The CSU Library is transmitting three demential building maps that allows student the ability to find their location,on different floors on their Android smartphone.
  *    Apple iBooks Author: What Apple did to music with iTunes they are now offering to electronic publishing. This will enable students and professors the ability to create their own electronic books, journal and papers, all with cutting edge images, audio and video.
  *    Samsung Touch Sensitive Display Table. You may have seen something like this on a futuristic show, where people move computer screen items with the wave of their hands, well the future is here, but with a large table display.
  *    NBC Learn: What if you had access to the entire NBC news video archives regarding: science, current events, heritage studies, government, business, engineering, health, and other subjects? Students now have that access with NBC Learn.

  Remember here are the presenters from Google and the subjects they will be covering:

Kousha Navidar is a Community Manager for Google Search. As a Community Manager, he is an evangelist for Search, connecting with users and educating them via social media and the Google Search forum. He also works with communities for the Google Doodle team and Google for Nonprofits. Prior to Google, Kousha was a 10th grade geometry teacher. Kousha will be presenting his story as a teacher, and what role Google could play in developing a student's critical thinking skills.

Catherine Moatshas worked on geo-related projects at the Google office in Boulder for five years, including projects focusing on Google Earth, Google Maps, and Google Map Maker.  She is passionate about bringing great Google Maps and Google Earth experiences to all sorts of Google users -  from students and educators, to non-profits and hobbyists.  She has traveled near and far sharing mapping experiences with a variety of audiences.  Catherine attended the University of Colorado, earning both a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in business.
She will be presenting  Google Earth alongside Adam Hecht to share ideas how it can be used in any situation!

Adam Hecht is a Program Manager at Google in Boulder, Colorado. Adam works on 3D Data releases and marketing for Google Earth and well as training tools for Media. He attended the University of Colorado, graduating in 2006. Adam will be glad to explore Google Earth wit you and help answer any questions about Google Earth, ranging from general use, best practices and custom tour building and KML.
