Please excuse multiple postings:

You've forged strong partnerships with local communities;
built a cohesive workplace community;
maybe expanded your library's community with new services.

Now share your experience and help others do the same!

Present a workshop or pre-conference program at the 2008 CAL CONFERENCE.
This year, the conference is all about COMMUNITIES AND LIBRARIES, and your
participation will strengthen our professional community.

It's not too early to start planning.
The deadline to propose a workshop or pre-conference program is May 23rd,
2008.
Check www.cal-webs.org in early March for the online proposal submission
forms, or look for links to the forms in a future message.

*Workshops are 50-minute sessions that will be presented on Friday, November
7th and Saturday, November 8th. These sessions are designed to give an
overview on topics of interest.

*Pre-conference programs are half- or full-day sessions that will take place
on Thursday, November 6th. These sessions are intended to give participants
more than just the 50-minute overview that conference workshops offer.

The 2008 Colorado Association of Libraries annual conference will be held
November 6th-8th at the Denver Marriott Tech Center.
