Dear Gold Rush Subscribers:

We have added a new DOI look up box to the Article Finder form in Gold Rush. This DOI look up is located right under the PMID search box. Simply type in a DOI, and Gold Rush will search your holdings and present findings on the GR Linker Results page, or in the case of One-Click, a link directly to the article. Some DOIs start with the prefix "doi", some start with a numerical value and others may have an "http:// "prefix. We have tried to accommodate all of these variations. Here are some examples of recognized formats:

*         http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jdsr.2012.11.003

*         10.1016/j.jdsr.2012.11.003

*         doi:10.1177/0021943611414685

*         DOI:10.1177/0021943611414685

*         DOI:  10.1177/0021943611414685

*

Most major publishers of academic journals deposit DOIs (direct object identifier) in CrossRef which is a service that facilitates article links to journal content. If you subscribe to publisher content is very likely that you use DOIs for article linking.

Please let us know if you have questions about this new feature. It should be visible now on your Article Finder form in Gold Rush.
