 SALUTATIONS!

The Colorado Association of Libraries invites you to an exclusive screening
of Walden Films' new holiday movie "Charlotte's Web" based on the
award-winning classic by E.B. White.

The film stars Dakota Fanning as Fern, with the voice talents of Julia
Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Redford, Steve Buscemi and more!

The public won't get to see "Charlotte's Web" until December, but CAL
members attending this year's CAL conference will have the opportunity to
attend a FREE screening!

It all happens Thursday, November 9th at 8pm at the Century Aurora 16
Theaters / 14300 East Alameda Avenue / Aurora, CO / 80012. It is for CAL
members only (sorry no guests are permitted) - who will need to show their
CAL conference badge or library card to attend.

And don't miss the accompanying pre-conference Thursday morning before the
film. "Children's Literature and Faithful Film Adaptation: "Charlotte's
Web" Goes to the Movies" takes place Thursday, November 9, 9am to noon.
Explore how children's literature can be faithfully adapted for the screen
and the role of faithful film adaptations as an important component to a
comprehensive library media center. If you've already registered for the
conference, e-mail Kathleen at [log in to unmask] to add the Charlotte's
Web preconference (just $40.)

If you still need to register for the 2006 CAL Conference, you can do so
onsite by October 29 at www.cal-webs.org/conference.html, or you can
register that morning by coming to the conference (though rates are $25
higher onsite.)

Get all the details at the CAL website: www.cal-webs.org/conference.html
