The Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries has released an enhancement
to the Subscriptions module in Gold Rush which allows sites to make
subscription records “view only” based on user privileges. Admin
level users can configure this setting for staff logins. From the Gold Rush
Staff Module, select the Settings button and Add/Edit Users. From this screen
select the Get Details button for a particular user. Under Subscriptions
Permissions, check the Search Subscriptions View Only and Browse Subscriptions
View Only. Remember to deselect the other Subscription settings. The next
time this user logs in, he/she will only have access to the view only mode of
subscriptions.
