Dear Colleagues,

Over the next four months we will be releasing several new enhancements fo the Gold Rush service.  These features will each be independently released between March and June and we'll announce them on goldrush-l as they become available. 

1.  Redone GR statistics.  With this you will more easily be able to see use data in GR Linker and the public interface at the journal level, along with other things too.

2.  An incident tracker for logging system outages or problems..  It will be accessible as a separate login (for reference), or accessible through Subscriptions or Holdings.  It will have a piece to push outage notices into the public interface.

3.  An updated Subscriptions module that will include a better look and feel, the ability to add your own fields, and some other features

4.  An XML gateway to the public interface (the existing interface will still be available).  This will mean that GR will be supporing the latest in Web Services (Web 2.0) and this new services oriented architecture will take GR out of the box and you can make it look like anything you want.
