NEWS RELEASE For Immediate Release: Denver, Colorado November 5, 2007 Aquinas College Licenses Gold Rush The Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries is pleased to announce that the Aquinas College Library ( <http://www.aquinascollege.edu/> http://www.aquinascollege.edu/) in Nashville Tennessee has licensed Gold Rush Complete. Aquinas College, established in 1928 was originally called Saint Cicilia Normal School. It was originally created for Sisters to prepare them for their teaching apostolate. Since then, the college has moved from Saint Cecilia Motherhouse to its present location on a lush, green 92 acre campus which is now open to the public. Aquinas College is a liberal arts college that is rooted in the Dominican tradition. Philosophy and theology is included in each course and helps to stimulate the dialogue between faith and reason. Major areas of academic study are liberal arts, teacher education, business, nursing and adult studies. The library subscribes to several online databases containing a large variety of full text journal articles, newspaper stories, e-books, pamphlets, encyclopedia articles and even a music library. Their databases cover a wide range of academic subjects including business, education, literature, nursing, public policy & government, philosophy, religion, and science.
