Head of Information, Research, and Outreach

The University of Colorado Denver (UCD) Health Sciences Library [http://hsclibrary.uchsc.edu] seeks resourceful, energetic and innovative candidates to provide outstanding leadership for a senior level position as Head of Information, Research, and Outreach. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of reference, mediated searching, clinical and research support services, the library’s liaison program, and outreach services.

The UCD Anschutz Medical Campus (AMC) includes the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dental Medicine, the College of Nursing, the Graduate School, and the University of Colorado Hospital. Our $35 million, state-of-the-art library opened in October 2007, and is located at the crossroads of the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Colorado Science and Technology Park. The library is the physical and digital hub of knowledge on the campus, coordinating access to information in support of learning, research, clinical care and service to the community. The Health Sciences Library provides the largest collection of health sciences information resources in Colorado with a digital collection of more than 30,000 online journals, hundreds of electronic textbooks, and online databases.
