We have recently updated the manner in which “Compare
Multiple Databases” reports are delivered in Gold Rush. In the
past, when one of these reports was run the user would receive an email with an
attached spreadsheet. However, this proved to be problematic
when the attached spreadsheet was very large (often multiple megabytes) because
local spam filters or email limitations would sometimes not let them be
delivered. Now, whenever a multiple database comparison report is run,
the user will receive an email which provides a link to the spreadsheet on one
of our servers. You may then follow the link to download the report at
your convenience. These reports will be stored online for two
months. If you wait longer than that just rerun the report.
This new feature only affects the “Compare Multiple
Databases” report. The “Compare Two Databases” report
is still run in real-time and delivered directly to your screen.
