We will be launching a new Encore discovery interface for
the Prospector union catalog in July 2010 (exact date yet to be
announced). As a preview to this event, we are having an Encore kickoff
program on Tuesday, June 15th at Auraria Library. Innovative
Interfaces Inc (III) will be doing this program and it will provide a look at
the new Prospector Encore interface. If you are interested in attending

The culmination of the Encore Implementation for
Prospector is this Encore kickoff program. The kickoff is a chance
for Innovative Interfaces to introduce Encore to the Alliance and for local
library staff from Prospector libraries to see Encore in the union catalog
environment. The program will begin by Innovative Interfaces
presenting the application and it will include plenty of time for questions and
answers. This session will provide a preliminary look at this new
discovery interface for Prospector, and will assist us in making final
decisions on the look-and-feel before the formal public Encore release that is
currently scheduled for July 2010.
