Call for Proposals
Deadline is February 12, 2016

Come one, come all and come early! Library staff of all ages, heights, genre preferences, academic disciplines and platform partialities: we know you are out there! Those who want to stretch their wings (or cardigan sleeves) and present a program at the joint Mountain Plains Library Association/ Colorado Association of Libraries’ Annual Conference, I challenge you to submit your proposal using the link below and step outside the norm. The speaker’s packet<http:[log in to unmask]&job=2176792&ymlink=4354104&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecal%2Dwebs%2Eorg%2Fresource%2Fresmgr%2Fcalcon16%2Fcalcon%5F2016%5Fprogram%5Fsubmiss%2Edocx> has details that will assist you in planning for your program.

The MPLA/CALCON16 Program Committee is seeking proposals for programs that:

• Innovate: reach outside the limits of library norms and engage communities

• Inspire: stimulate imagination, foster creativity and ingenuity, and demonstrate leadership

• Connect: demonstrate connections between libraries and their patrons, partners, other libraries or communities

MPLA& CAL encourage submissions from all types of libraries, regardless of size or location. All library staff are encouraged to submit proposals, including paraprofessionals, HR, marketing, administration, etc. Vendors and exhibitors are also welcome to submit. Please consider collaborating and partnering with each other to truly demonstrate connections.

Consider submitting proposals that go above and beyond the basics. Libraries interested in facilitating a hands-on experience(s) for conference attendees should indicate this in a program proposal. Use your imagination to bring innovation, inspiration and connections to #MPLACALCON16!

SUBMIT TODAY! <http:[log in to unmask]&job=2176792&ymlink=4354104&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecal%2Dwebs%2Eorg%2F%3Fpage%3DCallForProg2016>

Kind thanks,
Steph Myers
