Subject: [CoALA-l] CoALA is Seeking Peer Reviewers for CALCON17

Dear CoALA Members,

The Executive Board of the  Colorado Academic Library Association (CoALA) is looking for new members to serve on its peer review committee for the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) conference.

The CAL Conference Planning Committee has received five proposals for CoALA-sponsored presentations with a request for peer review. Committee members are responsible for reviewing these presentations and determining whether they qualify as peer-reviewed submissions.


The CoALA peer review committee consists of three qualified academic librarians, responsible for reviewing each year a select number of presentation proposals submitted for the annual Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) conference.


1.      Librarian who has reached tenure status at your institution (or equivalent), OR

2.      Librarian who has reached Associate Professor level at your institution (or equivalent), OR

3.      Librarian who is well published in the library field, or who has demonstrated subject expertise through multiple keynote presentations, workshop facilitation, or other public speaking engagements.

Candidates must submit a Curriculum Vita or resume that includes references to publications and/or presentations.  Curriculum Vitae or resumes should also illustrate any areas of expertise or specialization.
