**Apologies for cross posting**

After a brief hiatus in July, we are happy to be back with a great program of events for you for the rest of this year. We will be kicking things off with our August webinar—Audits and Assessment (free for NISO members), followed by a virtual conference on Ebooks and Collections (discounted for NISO members). Please mark your calendars and let your colleagues know!

Webinar: Audits and Assessment

Wednesday August 11, 11.00am - 12.30pm EDT (Canada/US)

Organizations of all sorts are expected to audit and assess their activities, but what does this actually involve? Join us to hear from a group of experts on this topic, who will be sharing their ideas and experiences regarding what works and what doesn’t. Confirmed speakers include Gillian Harrison Cain, Atla; Bill Kasdorf, Kasdorf & Associates; Valrie Minson, University of Florida; and Makala Skinner, ITHAKA.

Sign up now — registration includes an unlimited number of attendees from your organization!

Virtual Conference: Ebooks and Collections

Wednesday August 25, 12.00 - 4.00pm EDT (Canada/US)

Libraries exist to serve the needs of their researchers, not the other way around. If humanists prefer print for their activities, then both content providers and librarians must ensure that this research need is met. So how should the community adapt? This virtual conference will kickstart the conversation, providing an opportunity for a wide group of stakeholders to highlight their community’s needs and share their views on how to meet them. Confirmed speakers include Tom Bruno, University of Pennsylvania; Christina Drummond, OA Ebook Usage Data Trust; and Steve Fallon, De Gruyter.

Sign up now — registration includes an unlimited number of attendees from your organization!

Coming Soon!

Looking ahead, please save the dates now for our September 8 webinar on Data - Creation, Stewardship, Use, and our September 29 Virtual Conference on Effective Data Management. We’ll also soon be sharing news of our next training series, starting in mid-September, which will focus on the important topic of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, as well as a free webinar workshop on the same topic!

We hope to see you at one or more of these events, and thanks as always for your support!

Best wishes

The NISO Team
