Please Excuse Multiple Postings:
Do you like awards shows? Did you ever wonder what it would be like to
work on one?
The Colorado Association of Libraries Awards Committee needs a
volunteer to
assist the Conference Planning Committee produce the awards luncheon at
this
year's CAL Conference, specifically November 11, 2006.
Your main job will be to create, write, and time the script (to fit in
the time
allowed), in coordination with the PowerPoint person (Jen Cotton of
Colorado
Academy)
You will also coordinate the ceremony details with the emcee (likely to
be News
4's Jim Benemann in a repeat appearance) including meeting/escorting him
to the awards luncheon room.
You will be a member of the CAL Conference and Awards Committees and
will be
asked to attend a couple meetings between now and November.
If you are interested, please respond by emailing or phoning Kathleen
Noland,
Colorado Association of Libraries, [log in to unmask], 303/463-6400
