**LAST CHANCE TO APPLY**
for the Program Selection Committee
for the 2008 CAL Conference: Communities and Libraries
Deadline: April 15, 2008
www.cal-webs.org/conference.html
------
You want the 2008 CAL Conference to offer high-quality, relevant
programs.
Don't just wish; make it happen!
* Apply to sit on the Program Selection Committee.
* Submit a program proposal to present your own good work in a
preconference program or workshop.
The committee application and program proposal forms are available at
www.cal-webs.org/conference.html
This year the conference will include a peer-reviewed session for the
presentation of scholarly original research.
Though not limited to academic librarians, this session aims to provide
tenure-track librarians or similar an opportunity to share their
research and develop their professional dossiers.
To have your proposal considered for the peer-reviewed session, indicate
your interest in the box provided on the workshop proposal form.
Proposals not selected for the peer-reviewed session will be considered
for non-peer-reviewed sessions.
The CAL Conference is a great opportunity to hone your skills as a
presenter and develop your voice in the library profession.
So don't miss the program proposal deadline: May 23, 2008.
--------
The 2008 Colorado Association of Libraries annual conference will be
held November 6th-8th at the Marriott Denver Tech Center.
