It's not too late to submit a proposal for a lightning talk at the upcoming Intellectual Freedom Workshop.
The Colorado Academic Library Association is sponsoring a Workshop on Academic/Intellectual Freedom and the Academic Library on July 21, 2017 at Anderson Commons. We are looking for lightning round presenters including MLIS students to discuss aspects of intellectual or academic freedom related to their work or research. If you have stories, best practices, policies or other aspects of intellectual freedom you would like to share, we encourage you to submit a proposal. Some possible topics might be privacy of student information, censorship, intellectual freedom as it relates to collection development and academic freedom versus slander or libel.
