We have a new librarian working at the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries.  Her name is Rose Nelson and, among other things, she will be working with us on the Gold Rush project.  

Don't be surprised if you begin to see Rose's name on postings to the goldrush-l listserv as well as her responding to some of your questions.  

Remember it's still best to send Gold Rush questions, requests for database updates or other comments to [log in to unmask] as this email alias goes to a team of people (including Rose and myself) and not just one person.

Below is Rose's biography....we are very happy to have her on board.

Rose Nelson received her MLS degree from Emporia State University in 1997.
Shortly thereafter, she was hired by the South Central Regional Library
System in Kansas supporting small, rural libraries with technology
development.  In 1999 Rose was hired by the Colorado State Library as a
Technology Consultant.  Her primary duties included training  libraries on
E-rate and technology planning; helping to develop technology standards for
libraries; administering the various Bill and Melinda Gates grants to public
libraries; and serving as project manager for the WebJunction Colorado
portal.  Rose is a Colorado native and currently resides in Denver.
