Help set the course for Colorado's libraries for the next year.
Volunteer to be a grant reader for the 2007 - 2008 LSTA Grants
The Colorado State Library seeks volunteer Library Services and
Technology Act (LSTA) grant proposal readers to evaluate grant proposals
from Colorado libraries submitted for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.
The federal LSTA funds are intended for distribution to any qualified
type of library: academic, institutional, public, school and specialized
to support proposals based on partnerships between libraries and
library-related organizations. The Request for Proposals begins May 7.
The deadline for submitting the proposals is August 1, 2007.

Submit your Reader Application form by July 2, 2007.
Qualifying readers will be notified by e-mail by July 16, 2007.
NOTE: You must be able to
* Read and review around 10-12 grant proposals;
* Participate in a scheduled conference call for training on
August 8, 2007;
* Be part of a team of readers evaluating a group of proposals;
* Attend the August 23, 2007 review team meeting in person to
select projects for funding.
* A clear understanding that you will excuse yourself from
evaluating any grant that has the potential to present a conflict of
interest.
