The Open J-Gate website is currently under maintenance an inaccessible.
See: www.openjgate.com

  You can post an outage message in Gold Rush so that when someone
stumbles upon a journal or database URL from Open J-Gate, there is a
note indicating that the site is down.  

 

Here are the steps to do this:

 

1.       Login to the staff module

2.       Under Holdings select Incident Tracker

3.       Complete the Incident report form.  The vendor is Informatics.


4.       Be sure to check the box "Display Public Message"

5.       Enter a note about the temporary outage.  

6.       Be sure to click "add incident" at the bottom of the form

7.       Search the A-Z interface either by database or for a particular
journal in Open J-Gate there will be a database alert message next to
the title if using the new interface.  The old interface displays a note
in yellow when you mouse over the title. (you may need to exit Gold Rush
and re-enter your site to see the updated changes)
